Concrete coating services that protect floors from stains, moisture and wear.
Denver, Colorado Springs and the Front Range
Concrete coating services protect a porous floor from stains and moisture damage. Choose pigmented coatings, decorative broadcasts, or a clear sealer that keeps the natural look of the concrete.
A coating that costs more up front can cost less over time. Compare how long each option lasts, what it costs to maintain, and what replacement and downtime would add. We match the system to your floor to extend its life and lower your total cost of ownership.
We prime and seal the prepared concrete, then trowel and back roll an epoxy body coat and broadcast aggregate into it. Silica sand, decorative quartz, aluminum oxide and vinyl chips each serve a different purpose.
Once the base coat sets, we recover the excess aggregate and apply a grout or seal coat. That can be the final coat, with an aggressive non-slip surface, or a topcoat can follow to reduce the texture and add protection.
Manufacturers typically require under 3 pounds of moisture vapor transmission (calcium chloride test) and under 75% relative humidity (RH probes), on 3 test sites per 1,000 square feet over at least 24 hours.
If a floor fails either test, a moisture block or mitigation system goes in first. That adds cost, but a moisture block primer can replace the primer, and sometimes the body coat, in your original bid.
Get several bids and confirm every bidder quotes the same prep and materials. Ask whether the material fits your use. Check how long the company has been in business, how experienced its crew is and whether it is certified for the products it installs, then call its references. We are glad to walk you through our prep and materials.
